The view from the room was peaceful, overlooking the river, and the breakfast had a decent selection. However, the room cleanliness could have been better, with some areas needing attention, and the dining area was quite crowded. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not without its quirks.

The view from our river-facing room was pretty nice, if the trees were trimmed more it would be stellar. We also enjoyed the nice warm outdoor pool, looks recent but hopefully it's kept clean.
For a mini suite at that price-point, I was expecting more than just a decent view.

I loved that we were just a few steps away from both the tasty Delish Donuts and the beautiful Harmon Park, which made our strolls enjoyable and filled with delicious treats.

My stay at Shilo Inn was a positive experience overall. The room was spacious and offered a beautiful river view, making my work trip feel more comfortable. The breakfast options were limited and could improve.

Bend's dining scene is a feast for the senses! Fat Tuesday's Cajun and Blues served up wicked gumbo that'll have you dancing! Plus, those Delish Donuts? Pure magic! The room was spacious and the river view was a balm to the soul.
On the flip side, the room had a funky smoke smell, and the fridge was more of a prop than a functional appliance. I'd hoped for an upgrade when I mentioned the concerns, but the vibe felt a bit indifferent.

Nearby eats were a blast—Fat Tuesday's Cajun and Blues served up some seriously good gumbo, and don’t get me started on the delish donuts from Delish Donuts! I loved the jetted tub in my room, though it could’ve used a little TLC.
The fridge was more vintage than functioning, barely keeping things cold, and that jetted tub? Red floaties had me questioning my choices. Definitely felt overpriced with the smoky vibes from the staff.

missingWrote a review on Aug 17ideal locationpleasant staffpoor handlinginsufficient arrangementsmaintenance issues
The location is ideal with easy access to essentials, making it convenient. However, reservations were mishandled. I specifically requested a ground floor room but ended up with an unprepared setup for three adults in a single bed room. The saving grace was a pleasant staff member who resolved our issues, making our stay more enjoyable. Lastly, the property holds potential with its picturesque buildings, though maintenance could enhance its beauty further.

Practiced our swings at nearby golf courses and enjoyed a refreshing time at the pool. It's awesome that kids under 18 stay free with an adult. Just a heads up, service can be slow during busy times.
We had to wait for towels and other supplies during our stay since they seemed understaffed.
